Looking After Your Product
Keeping your product in good condition is part of keeping your warranty valid. As the owner, you're expected to routinely check the internal parts of your unit — this includes the pump, barrel unions and UV system — and to keep on top of water chemistry as described in the owner's manual supplied with your product. Skipping this upkeep can cause damage that isn't covered, and neglecting these steps may void your warranty entirely.
Only chemicals sold or approved by The Ice Bath NZ (or by our authorised suppliers) should be used with your product. Using unapproved or third-party chemicals may also void your warranty.
Limitation of Liability
So far as New Zealand law allows, The Ice Bath NZ and its affiliates accept no responsibility for indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses of any kind. This covers, among other things, loss of business, lost income, loss of data or personal injury, however that loss might come about.
Where a product is bought for business or commercial use, the guarantees set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are treated as not applying.
Confirming that a product meets local council rules — building consents, resource consents, fencing requirements and the like — is the buyer's responsibility, not ours. Anything we tell you on these matters is general guidance only and doesn't account for your specific site or the rules in your region. The Ice Bath NZ won't cover any costs that flow from non-compliance or from a warranty claim, including changes to your installation, alterations to the site, removal or re-delivery charges, or labour.
Warranty Limits & How Claims Work
- Original purchaser only. Every The Ice Bath NZ warranty is tied to the person who first bought the product and can't be passed on to anyone else.
- No modifications. Changing or altering the product from how it was originally supplied will void the warranty.
- This is the full warranty. The terms in this document are the only warranty The Ice Bath NZ provides. No spoken or implied warranties apply on top of it.
- If a replacement is needed. In the uncommon event that a product has to be replaced, we'll supply the same model where it's still available (specifications may have been updated in the meantime). If that model has been discontinued, we'll issue store credit equal to what you originally paid.

| Harvia Heater | 1-year limited warranty |
| Heating panels | 6-year limited warranty |

Past the first 12 months, cover is limited to replacement parts and no longer includes labour.
Not covered:
- Faults caused by incorrect installation or wiring (for example, missing or wrong RCD protection)
- Warping, cracking or splitting caused by sun exposure, going without a cover, or the natural movement of timber
- Damage that happens in transit once the unit has been assembled
- Water damage, staining or swelling from sweat or spills

Ice Bath Warranty
Tubs
Structure: 1-year structural warranty. The structural warranty applies solely to leaks in the main body of the tub. Surface marks, cosmetic flaws and general wear aren't included.
Timber parts: Not covered. Because timber is a natural material, how it holds up depends largely on use and care. Extended exposure to sun, rain or moisture — particularly if it hasn't been sealed — can cause colour changes, warping or mould. None of these are product faults, so they fall outside the warranty.
Caring for the timber: Keeping the timber in good shape is up to you, which means treating it regularly with wood wax oil or a similar product. Timber that isn't maintained may age or fail sooner than it otherwise would.
Tub Covers
Standard (non-timber) covers: Covered for 1 month from the delivery date.
Cooling Systems
| System | Cover |
|---|---|
| Ice Bath Chiller & Premium Chiller | 1-year manufacturer's warranty |
| All In One Ice Bath | 2-year manufacturer's warranty |
